30-3-2011: GEA Group to relocated headquarters in Dusseldorf
The holding company of GEA Group, as well as segment management, will relocate to a leased building adjacent to Dusseldorf International Airport. A versatile transport hub, this location is ideal for the global business of GEA Group.
In the course of the reorganisation of the new segment GEA Heat Exchangers, employees of this segment currently working in the greater Bochum and Herne area will be consolidated on the company's property at Dorstener Straße in Bochum. The GEA Heat Exchangers will occupy the building currently used by the GEA Group holding company. The construction of an adjacent new building will satisfy additional capacity requirements.
